Free Application For Student Aid- a a free application for financial aid to help with college from the federal government. It can often be a requirement for schools or scholarships to determine how much aid you are eligible for. The application is FREE! It will determine if you can receive pell grants or studnet loans to help you afford school.

FSA ID Federal Student Aid ID is an electronic signature to fill out your FAFSA. You as the student and your parents will both need to have an FSA ID to complete eligibility information. If you have an older sibling that has gone to college, your parents very likely have an FSA ID, or even if they went to college themselves with loans. They will be able to look up their information or manage their ID.

Any student other than a non-immigrant, who meets all the following requirements, shall be eligible to pay residential tuition at Utah Colleges.
REQUIREMENTS
- The student must have attended a Utah high school for three or more years.
- The student must have graduated from a Utah high school or attained the equivalent of a high school diploma (GED) in Utah.
- A student, who is without lawful immigration status, must file an affidavit with Utah Colleges stating that he or she has filed an application to legalize immigration status or will file an application as soon as he or she eligible to do so.
- Students who are on a non-immigrants’ visa must submit a copy of a valid visa. (F student visa, B visitor visa).
- HB-144 does not provide financial aid eligibility. These students remain ineligible for state and federal financial aid.
PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING A UTAH EXEMPTION FROM NON-RESIDENT TUITION
1. If you are a new or returning student, fill out and sign the HB144 Utah Non-Resident Tuition Waiver
2. Request an official transcript (in a sealed envelope) indicating completion of at least three years in a Utah high school and proof of graduation from a Utah high school or have an equivalency of a high school diploma (GED) in Utah.
